PRICING INFORMATION (edited 3-24-08)
Basic Installation: $190 (Includes theme installation, custom colors, static banner integration, statistics plugin, and SEO plugins). Requires that a free wordpress theme be chosen as a starting point.
“Pimp Your Blog” Package: $280 (Includes Basic Installation, 5 basic customizations, and 2 deluxe customizations.) Requires that a free wordpress theme be chosen as a starting point.
“Ground Up” full custom package: $400. Get your own unique one-of-a-kind design. Submit a mock-up jpeg of your design and we will build your blog from the ground up. 3 months worth of support and customizations included.
Customizations Only: $85 base fee ($25 for returning clients). If you already have WordPress installed on your server and just want customizations. Includes WordPress automatic upgrade.
Add-On fees:
- Basic customizations: $10 each
- Deluxe customizations: $25 each
- Base fee for WordPress upgrade: $50
What I will need from you:
1. Access to your web server’s control panel to set up a database.
2. Access to your ftp site.
3. URL address you want your blog to have (typically something like www.website.com/blog )
4. An idea of the overall look you want (color scheme, 2 or 3 column layout, etc…) I suggest looking through some themes to get an idea of what you want. Pick one and I can use that as the base for customizing your blog. A list of sites that offer free WordPress themes can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes/Theme_List
Narrow down your search by looking for well-designed themes that have a fixed width, are widget ready, and have NO ROUNDED CORNERS. Also look for themes that have banners integrated into the design already. Note: You can also look through the list of blogs I’ve already installed and customized in the previous page to describe what you are looking for.
5. If you want a banner integrated into your site, I will give you the dimensions based on the theme you choose, so this I will need later.
6. A list of customizations that you’d like. Refer to the list on the FAQ page as a starting point.
What you need to know:
- All information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with a third party.
- Packages that include installation will be charged a $45 fee up front, applicable toward the total charge.
- Payment is made thru Paypal. Final Invoice is sent AFTER customizations is complete.
